Kodak DCS 560 @ 1fps

Kodak DCS 560 @ 1fps Tube. Duration : 0.70 Mins.

The venerable Kodak DCS 560, a six megapixel SLR from 1998, shows off its COUGH burst mode COUGH and its oddly-positioned vertical shutter button. Here's a shot I took with it: women-and-dreams.blogspot.com It fires at 1fps for a four-shot burst and averages out at about 0.44 fps over thirty seconds. It would have been slower in 1998 with a 1998-era IBM Microdrive. To be fair, it was aimed at studio shooters (the press model, the DCS 520, could do 3.5fps). Original RRP about 500. Video filmed with a 5D MkII, Contax 35-70mm. The top half is a Canon EOS-1N, the bottom half is Kodak. Compare with this video, which shows a standard EOS-1N firing away at 6fps (I think): www.youtube.com
