These are photographs I took with my Canon EOS 40D SLR (using my Canon L-series 70-200mm F2.8 USM lens and a Tokina 12-24mm wide angle lens for one shot) of the Twilight Tattoo ceremony that the 3rd US Army Infantry Regiment "the Old Guard" conducts in the summer at Fort McNair. The pageant consists of three parts: a performance by a fife and drum band, bayonet drill, and a sort of "US Army through the centuries" display of soldiers dressed in different period costumes. It was quite a show!
